My friend has a Zojirushi, which costs like $300... thinking if I should eat rice, and obviously I need a rice cooker if I decide to start eating rice. But I would buy a cheap cooker at first. Rice is a cheap and easy source of carbs.

Yeah, it doesn't have a lot of nutrients, fat, and protein, but I get those from fish, nuts, and chicken.

It's a hassle. Using a rice cooker is easier.
that's what I thought too but it's no different at least with a lot of the cheap ones. the timer doesn't work accurately so you still have to check up on it and see when it's done so it doesn't cook for too long. you can't just leave the rice in the cooker for days either. it's pretty much just like a small electric stove and a pot.

Is that a euphemism for Japanese gas chamber in WW2?

Zojirushis seem to be good but they are expensive and I don't know how often I would eat rice. If I would eat rice often then I would instantly buy a Zojirushi.

The only reason to have a rice cooker is to save stove room really, from what I know. But all asian households have rice cookers so maybe i could be wrong, or it could be to save stove room, idk.

You don't need an expensive one. I'm sure they would be harder to clean. We use a cheap one. In China we had a cheap one that had an extra insertable platform where you could steam buns or corn at the same time as you cooked your rice.

I don't know I never used cheap rice cookers. If you are not poor get one that is good and not cheap and it will last a long time.

rice cookers operate by using steam to cook the rice. something this simple doesn't require a 400 dollar solution. fucking faggot youtube shill trying to justify his consoomer expenses and/or promoting his sponsor.

My friend used a pot before, now he has a fancy rice cooker and he says that the difference is night and day. Tho it can be that he just don't know how to cook with a pot.

Yes I eat rice everyday and use a rice cooker for it and it's very easy to cook and wait for. Gotta rinse the rice first and empty the water and then repeat open more time before refilling with fresh new water at a certain height that is shown in the container/bowl which holds the rice and bam you put it in the cooker press the rice type you are eating and then press the power button and bam you got yourself enough carbs to feed africa.

Also to note you can make a lot of rice in one go and use those left over rice in other containers to store in your fridge so the next day if you are eating then you can jut microwave it.

Rice is my life as a vietnamese even though i am born in australia and raised here all my life

I saw that Zojirushi cookers can keep rice warm for 12-24 hours. Well, even longer, the rice might not taste good if you keep it longer than that. 24 hours would be good.

What do you eat rice with? Curry or Plain.

Ideally you don't want to keep it longer for 5 hours and take it out after turning it off for 1 hour to get that nice soft but still hard rice that is perfect.

You also need to make sure too mix it up after taking it out.

I have zojirushi, cost like $120, I'd recommend it

My $30 Aroma rice cooker works great. I tend to avoid rice and carbs in general though because they're empty calories

How do people eat rice without a rice cooker lol

these guys are legends. They understood already. Their eggs are pure as hell and they consume at least 2 eggs per day. They have higienic bathrooms, they have ideal beds, their culture is good. Shame that is being destroyed by modern ocident.

biryani mogs fucking hard.
