The following victims from his 1984–1985 spree were Jewish:
- Jennie Vincow (79): Killed on June 28, 1984, she is widely considered Ramirez's first murder victim. She was attacked in her apartment in Glassell Park, Los Angeles.
- Max Kneiding (68) and Lela Kneiding (66): A couple murdered in their Glendale home on July 20, 1985.
- Sophie Dickman (63): Survived a brutal attack on July 7, 1985. During the assault, Ramirez forced her to "swear on Satan" that she would not scream. At his trial, it was noted that she did not see media coverage of Ramirez prior to a police lineup because, following her religious beliefs, she had been observing a traditional period of mourning for her murdered husband.
