Could someone expand on this?

If I have healthy hair @25, no hair loss. Would a 1.5cm hairline reduction surgery be risky in the long run and if so why?

I've heard all kinds of stuff on the topic.

no it's just basically a very small hair transplant
 
You might get shockloss if you choose a shitty surgeon and lose out on density
