if your parents have a law firm, yes, otherwise you have to be in top 0.5% to stand a chance. it's not uncommon for apprentices to work for free (and pay the difference between that and gross income out of their pocket) in established law firms just to qualify (18 months of practice is required here, dk about the uk) for applying to the bar exam

and even if you get to the status of an actual lawyer in a firm, you're most likely gonna run out of business quickly and have to close it

it's way over-romanticized in movies and tv-shows
