And how much do they pay and based on what, is it active players ?
Is it overall game quality ?

know that even if you do something good and it doesnt get noticed it'll never work, use lua to program it, make something addicting where the user feel rewarded everytime he does some stuff, get to know what the market wants, do something you like and enjoy to play. for 30k robux roblox converts them in 105 usd

depends if you build something and make it kind of a brand with tons of stuff in you'll have high and lows but will monetize it pretty well and have cash coming it without much sweat after you make something good, just make sure to push some small updates every month and a big one after 4 months depending of your community, its a business, so there's way more work that a 9 to 5 especially at the start

yeah bro u should give it a try bc some game recently blew up called Escape Tsunami for Brainrots and it’s basically just a AI generated slop with terrible code, but it still had over 500k concurrent players and most likely raked in 10m+ Robux a day, which is like $30k USD if you DevEx. but in the end it’s mostly luck. i recommend watching this video if u wanna start:
