I remember reading about a study conducted by some Swiss university where they created AI bots to infiltrate reddit, and they had an incredibly high amount of comment and post karmas (karmas weren't botted) Reddit users didn't realize that these were bots.

I really hope that we wont have a great AI replacement because this forum is the only space on the internet where I dont automatically assume that half of the comments are bots.
