Romantic love isn't real, it is intense lust onset by our evolution. The only people that you are capable of loving are yourself, your offspring, and immediate blood related family.
Your initial reaction might be denial(cope), because you have been lead to believe that romantic love is real, through media, books, peers. You don't want it to be true, but it is, such is the nature of the blackpill.
The basis of human existence is sex. Human's need to have sex in order for our species to survive. In ensure the survival of our species, we have evolved to have lust and infatuation (dopamine rewards) for the opposite gender (gay+trans is mental illness) for around 1-2 years in order to ensure we mate and have offspring. The time that "romantic love" is in effect, comes from Monkeys; A newborn monkey is entirely helpless, it needs a father (protection, food) and mother (milk) in order to survive the beginning stages of it's life. Once the time period is up, the parents lose attraction to each other. This can be compared to human monogamy today, and why 50% of marriages end in divorce. Once the period of infatuation is over, they male is left with a used up roastie, and the woman is happy and content to live with a male breadwinner and children. This is why 20% of married men cheat in comparison to 13% of women. Men aren't satisfied with their marriage with a woman that they don't like, but the femoid is 100% ok with living off of the males money.
In a study with voles, scientists found a part of their brain with dense oxytocin receptors. When the voles mated, they received dopamine which made their mate more rewarding to be around. Scientists then gave the voles a drug that cut off their oxytocin receptors, and the voles refused to make pair bonds (keep in mind that these a creatures who share their mate for life).
In conclusion, romantic love isn't real.
