there are no heavily built up globohomo areas worth visiting. i'd rather visit the nearest rural countryside

Amsterdam has many tourists. Rotterdam has many ethnics/ immigrants. Even though I spent 1 day in Rotterdam, I enjoyed Amsterdam more.
