Rubber bands cope?

Im 15 and have braces I get the gummy rubber bands to wear with them and I have been wondering igf they even are of any use. Im prob gonna get damon braces down the line but should I wear the rubber bands constantly?

no those arent cope, I had those as well, they do work for correcting a Class 2 malocclusion.

realistically speaking, depending on how bad it is it can be years (ranging from several months to a few years). In general it will be quite some time (but it does vary vastly case to case)
