I think I just destroyed a 7-year friendship. We haven't seen each other in a long time and we were finally supposed to hang out tomorrow.
The problem? I got way too enthusiastic and told her I wanted to kiss her. Total disaster.
She’s going through a rough patch with anxiety right now and told me she’s "not in a good place". I realized I messed up and sent a text apologizing for the tone and being too intense, telling her I respect her and giving her space to decide if she still wants to meet.
It’s been radio silence for a while now. I feel like an absolute idiot for risking a 7-year bond just because I got caught up in the moment.
Is there any way to come back from this?
Should I just stop texting entirely and wait for her move?
How do I handle the fact that I might have just lost my best friend over a moment of horniness?
