I just trained my butt, hips, abs and hamstrings (high reps but only 1 set per exercise), then I ran to the store for like half an hour at medium intensity (I was kipping for air, out of breath at the end of it).

Did this ruin my workout?

I don't usually space out things like this, but I just had to get to the store to buy hair dye and grapefruit juice. I also brought a protein bar which I ate right after and I drank BCAA during the workout.

Pure autism. Not enough volume (for) my ass when I literally did 160 reps of glute bridges (hip thrust off the floor) with 27 kg DB, 40 reps one legged SLD with 12 kg DB, 140 reps side leg raises, 110 reps of donkey kicks and 55 crunches.

You’re better off splitting it into 2 or 3 workouts

How do you mean? I thought you said it wasn't enough volume and now you want me to split it up?

High frequency is good (2-3 times per week), but if I do less in a single workout then I feel lazy or like I'm missing out. I could've easily done a few more sets, but I prioritized going to the store and getting some cardio as well.

Recovery is faster when you split it up, especially lower body

Yeah It was (semi) fasted. Well, I hadn't eaten for a few hours and I'd been active throughout the day. I took coffee, kratom and PWO before which is why I got this very high energy (I'm still buzzed). Drugs are good! It's the secret to both wellbeing and fat loss.

yes,

dont run

ever.

walk instead

you can walk anytime you want, as walking is not intensive, but ideally not RIGHT after a workout but a half hour later at least

if your running serves a purpose then its not as bad (in this case you needed to go to the store)

why not take a car instead

and then walk later?

running too much kills gains

bodybuilders have known this for decades

jog, keep it under a mile

dont get to the panting stage (out of breath)

Wtf I don't have a car. I have to run everywhere like Forrest Gump. Also I have to be able to escape the scene like Richard Ramirez when he got beat up by angry vigilantes.
