I have been lifting for around 4 years and am getting a rhinoplasty in 12 months. I love lifting but my nose is my biggest nerf I’m no jew but it nukes me. I am getting the rhino no question but no lifting for 6 months?!?? Will I not just loose everything I’ve worked for for 4 years 😭 has anyone been in this situation? I really need to know did you just have to restart in the gym? Is there any way I can maintain? I’m thinking of spending the next 12 months really overloading on my fizeek so it might not look so rough when I can’t train for 6 months but is it even worth it?

why would you have to wait 6 months?? also you would have muscle memory so you would gain it back way faster but still it would take more then a year to gain it all back.

get yo ass in that gym twin. My fiancé got ass implants and a bbl and was in the gym 6 weeks later lifting. I myself got jaw surgery back in july of 2023 and was on the treadmill the next night, lifting however maybe 3-4 weeks after. is it against drs order fuck yeah, did it ruin results or slow down progress no. if you feel able and ready no reason not to lift. take it lighter and go for it that's what I did. your the boss of your body, youll know how hard you can push yourself after surgery.

6 months the fuck is that. you can fs start earlier. ease into it, dont push too hard. you wont lose a lot of muscle.

lol just do calisthenics you can easily go on a meth benders and unhealthy lifestyles for months and still maintain your physique when you do calisthenics instead of gym

if you're dedicated to the gym then yeh you're going to lose all your gains, I laugh when people make fun of calisthenics then get into situations like this, not saying you're one of them but yh
