SAM-e for hair and depression

If any of you don't know already, SAM-e can increase DNA methylation in the body and supposedly that can also help with hairloss. There have been threads here before saying that a decrease of methylation in the receptors in the scalp is the reason for balding. This is mostly bro science for now but there have been some reports of results, and maybe more to come as the idea gets more widespread. Another thing, is that SAM-e is an anti depressant. This can very much be a two birds one stone situation since a lot of balding people are also depressed (I'm depressed too). What do you guys think?

Are there any studies or just anecdotal reports? I'll be on the lookout, i'm getting old ngl so i could start balding any day now.
