I have a Fairphone 6, which is basically the third position, outside the Apple vs Samsung binary.
Most people are trapped in that dualistic loop and are forced to buy new ones every few years.

The Fairphone mogs the absolute shit out of both since it's modular, repairable (battery, screen, ports, etc., you can literally replace them yourself), and it's de-googlable too, meaning no spy/bloatware either.
