SARPE Now + Bimax Later or Just Bimax Later

I have a narrow palate and a cross bite; two failed MSE attempts so my ortho referred me for SARPE but when I told him I wanted to go to Alfaro for Bimax + rhino he told me I should just save the SARPE money and do the widening during the Bimax.

He's an ortho not an OMS so I don't know whether he knows what he's talking about. Do you guys recommend I just pocket the SARPE money and put it toward Bimax with alfaro? Or would SARPE now and THEN Bimax produce a better result than widening during the Bimax?

very few if any orthos know what they're talking about. and if they do they'll still try to scam you most likely. did they give you proper corticopuncture for the mse?

Why did your MSE fail?

Bone was too strong, the first time it took a bunch of turns till i felt the split and small diastema formed but it wouldnt widen past that I guess the other sutures wouldnt split. THe second time there was zero widening again. Male, 20 years, and I've done a fuck ton of HGH so that's probably accelerated my bone age

No corticopuncture, is that an OMS procedure? it was another ortho I went to who did it because every OMS was quoting like 5k, spent about $2000 with no results besides some molar tipping

My main ortho seems legit he has great reviews and it's a boutique office in Manhattan ($9K in total for braces) and he even recommended I go abroad for Bimax surgery I don't think he's trying to scam me
