SARPE surgery, vs MSE. Which one is best? What are both of their pros and cons?

Pros for MSE are that it also expands the cheekbones but downsides are that it takes long, it can fail if the suture doesn't split, causes assymetry in most cases. Pro for SARPE is that it takes less time, con is that u need surgery.

Anything else?

Yeah kinda true. If my surgeon accepts me for jaw surgery I will need palate expansion, do U think it's better to just go with SARPE instead of trying to get MSE?

Only the smile will widen, and you have less dark corners when smiling.

Why doesn't the face get wider? U are also expanding the maxilla not just the palatte so why wouldn't it get wider.

-No aesthetic improvement other than the smile
-Expensive

MSE:
-Better smile
-Functional benefits (same as above)
-Big chance of aesthetic worsening while only a very slight chance of an aesthetic improvement
-Cheap
