They are songs that are happy, light, creative, balanced equilibrium/undisturbed and positive as opposed to Rajasaic (such as fast paced paced, energetic and passionate/motivational like Black/Thrash Metal or Techno) or Tamasaic (such as a sense of dread, dispair, lethargy and/or depression)

Example

In Hinduism/Hindu theology, when God wanted to Create/(Brahma) the Universe, He had a desire within Himself to produce something(restlessness). So He actively created the Universe. This would be an example of Rajas(i.e. passion or Rajasaic)

Waking up in the morning after long hours after sleeping peacefully and feeling fresh and positive ready to take on the world is also Sattvik.

Rajasaic mind is a mind with a lot of mental clutter "if I do this... If I do that... I must do this..." They are the achievers who "go out there and get things done" by their own sheer willpower with a sense of determination. But they get bogged down by a lot of racing thoughts.

A predominantly Rajasaic and slightly Sattvic person can't really sit down and study because their minds think alot and faster than they actually realize the solution to the answer. The obviousness of the solution doesn't present itself to them. They don't see the light. It doesn't go "aha! That's it!". They lack the patience to sit still and calmly come to a conclusion like a Sattvic person.

Einstein is a great example of a Sattvic person with really high intelligence because of his desire for the truth of matters. He would spend hours slowly analyzing difficult problems in pursuit of understanding with mental clarity.

A Sattvic person with high intelligence is great for left brained intensive(Mathematics or Physics) or right brained intensive(complex and creative Music) tasks. Their brains are able to process complicated problems and see the logical conclusion. Their minds go "then therefore...", "therefore it goes without saying", "if this means this then that means that".

Predominantly Rajasaic people feel the need to engage in some sort of activity as they are passionate and can't sit still. They have a lot of determination and motivation to press on in PHYSICAL activity but not in mental understanding.

Vaishyas and Kshatriyas are predominantly Rajasaic, their minds go "more and more, next thing, next thing...".

A Kshatriya who's trained in martial arts has a lot of patterns in his head of "how to act if this particular thing happens". And they can push on when the going gets tough and they have a "never give up" mentality.

Whereas a Sattvic person is harmonious, "cool, calm and collected", they don't want to act in the physical world as they are self-content. And don't have a need to do anything with passion. They don't have that gnawing "itch" to accomplish anything. They can sit and meditate for long hours.

A Sattvic person has a tendency to forgive wrongdoings instead of seeking retribution because they have a self-contained balanced equilibrium and are just happy being by themselves engaged in things that they like. And they want to stay happy by being by themselves instead of getting involved in the drama.
