21M British white MTN Might be living in Riyadh for around 3 months.
Never been to Saudi before so got a few questions for anyone who’s actually there.
Friends/social life
How tf do you actually make friends there? Is it just work/gym/expat groups or is it easy to meet people organically? Don’t want to spend 3 months rotting in my apartment.
Dating
What’s the dating scene actually like? I always hear “you can’t date before marriage” but is that how people genuinely live, or should i just not be stupid in public? Are apps dead? Mostly expats dating expats? Is it completely over for dating for me there..
Women
What do Saudi girls generally think of British guys? Positive, neutral, don’t care? Do they usually avoid foreigners completely or is it more individual than that? Obviously most if not ALL are Muslim so I’ll be staying far from that, is there even any non Muslims to date there? Will I get arrested for trying ?
Also, for the Saudis, is dating all about Redpill and status and materialism there? That’s how I picture the Middle East.
