Jeremy Meeks earns a lot as a model, but my guess is that he just spends it on stupid shit like most niggers who get rich like this (celebrities and sports ppl.) My sister is a doctor in nyc and she commands a big salary but has next to nothing in savings because she lives in a $5,000 per month apartment and spends most of it on Michelin star rated restaurants and partying with 20 year olds. Nothing saved.

I am a middle income staff accountant w/ degrees in finance and acct. , but ive been saving since I was 21. My dad also gave me about 80,000 in the voo. Today I have about $500,000 in savings, though I did live with my parents through all my 20s and used leveraged etfs like SPXL and TECL, which are risky and not suitable for everyone. I am 30.

You have to save as early as possible. If you are a high schooler working a part time summer job, then start saving right now.

use your brain. pretty much everyone invests in index funds long term. if everyone is doing it that means you won't excel, meaning you are AVERAGE. and the average person is slaving away in this economy

Very nice, very responsible, very smart. I started investing a couple months ago at 18. Not very lucky with the timing to start investing since all semis and Korea seems to be going down the drain. But anyway, I think it’s valuable lesson for me and it’s obviously good practice. I’m gonna just invest in VOO soon or spx

Check out momentum etfs like spmo and fmtm as well if you're interested.

Just use them long term/ don't trade or anything.
