Last year I realized that I have a large forehead. Had received comments before but always put them off until girl I was talking to was playing with my hair and pulled back my hairline and made the comment “look at that receding hairline”. Along with other similar comments from other people this destroyed my confidence. I gradually severed connections with friends, and began to work to “fix” the insecurity. I tried dermaneedling, minox, peppermint oil, and iodine for some time until I understood that my forehead size was genetic, and not due to MPB. I began considering hairline surgery in December, and picked up a job for minimum wage in January 2021. Was working 40h with high school. Eventually found a job at a Covid-related facility and am currently making ~$30/hr at 70 hour weeks. Procedure estimates are 13k, so I’m working until I have 15k saved. I am ~2.5 months away from having enough saved.
