I have noticed recently that our redpilled hapa starboy of the forum @Native has been noticing some hair thinning and now is on a downward spiral to self harm.

Ever since he started posting his pics on the forum I noticed that his hair was somewhat thin, the guy obviously is a notorious bdd patient by default since years of psl usage, I knew that it was just a matter of time that he would notice it at some point and get into the depression that he's currently in. Now, I don't usually try to help psl autists since they usually ignore all the useful advice and fixate on the worst possible outcome no matter the situation, this one hits a bit close to home for me since I've gone through a similar thing, therefore I feel the need to at least clarify some of the misinformation that I've seen on his panicking threads and give some advice, let's begin:

1. Don't let your hair part right at the fucking middle.

Bbb

This is the most retarded hairstyle you can possibly have if you have thin hair. (thin, fine, thinning, doesn't fucking matter). All hairs at the center of that front go to a different direction, creating what's called a cowlick. Now of course that cowlick wouldn't be there on a guy with dense hair, but that doesn't change the fact that if you want your hair to look as full as possible you need to comb/style it to one side. My suggestion is: comb all the hair on top towards one side/upwards when its wet right after showering, then let it airdry or blowdry

2. DONT START WITH MINOXIDIL, START WITH FINASTERIDE.

I have seen some retards telling him to get on minoxidil asap to ''prevent'' hair loss. You utter fucking retards minoxidil doesn't prevent shit, it just visually offsets the hair loss. If your hair is already somewhat thin in your early 20's it's just a matter of time before androgens miniaturize your hair follicles beyond the point where even with the stimulated growth from minoxidil your hair will be worse than what you started with. You need to get to the root of the issue. Obviously with advising finasteride, there will always be retards spouting bullshit ''muh sides, trannymaxxing, erections 10% softer'' I won't even spend a millisecond addressing any of that, I'm just tired of it at this point. Watch some of Derek's analysis on yt; browse reddit; spend hours, days, weeks on hairloss forums, make the risk assessment yourself, and you will probably come to the same conclusion. Hair is life. Personally I'm pisschilling at 1.25 mg daily atm since 2018, no regrets.

3. Shedding is pretty much worthless at assessing androgenic alopecia. Don't autistically count every single fucking hair follicle that falls from your head.

Androgenic hair loss is a very long-term, cumulative process. You only start to notice you ''started seeing a lot of hairs in the shower'' when you notice your hair is getting thinner. That's called confirmation bias. People think their hair loss started at some definitive point in their lives when in reality it was happening ever since their androgens spiked in early puberty(mainly dht of course). You only start to say ''oh fuck im losing my hair, wow look at all this hair on the sink woah'' when you visually notice the recession/thinning. Unless you have top 5% ronald reagan genes, your hair will have gotten significantly thinner at some point in your life, what causes how quick that happens is obviously how sensitive your hair is to androgens. ''Muh my grandpa was nw1 in his grave'' when in reality:

Ddd

4. ''Accutane/retina/stress/antibiotics/vaccines/smoking/bad diet/head injury/sucking cock/literally anything caused my hair loss''

No it fucking didn't. Your dad is literally NW7. It's only a matter of time. Wake the fuck up and do something about it.

I would give some more advice and clarify some more misinformation but I'm too bored of giving the same fucking advice, eventually you figure all this shit by yourself as you go through it anyway. I can promise that you won't be as depressed as you are now since you have only just noticed it. I went through the exact same thing just as many other men and trust me, Its brutal at first, then you get informed, find some ways, and take care of yourself. Good luck.

He's not even balding. Accutane makes you shed hairs sometimes but it's not permanent. He needs viagra, castor oil, or mk-677 to help with density. @Native

3 REASONS WHY IT ISN'T ANDROGENIC ALOPECIA:

There is no sign on miniaturization -
All we can see is his hair getting less dense, meaning there is less off it. When DHT attacks hair follicles it slowly makes them weaker and weaker / finer and finer until they stop growing all together. There is no sign of this.

He is not balding in a pattern - The reason why we call it 'male pattern baldness' is because it happens in a pattern. Why are his temples more dense than the middle of his hair/hairline? Even if you were to argue that he is diffuse thinning all over, it wouldn't make any sense.

It happened after he started taking accutane - It's not a coincidence that after some time on accutane he is experiencing hair loss.

HOW TO FIX:

First of all, stop stressing. This is a temporary problem that is only from a medication YOU chose to take. Also a medication that cleared your skin and improved your life immensely.

- Lower your accutane dose further. I think you mentioned you were on a much higher dose but you've got down to 20mg? Maybe go down to 10mg now.

- You could also stop accutane all together. Accutane works permanently so it is likely you won't even get acne again after discontinuing. I BET you'll see your density come back after stopping.

- If you want or need to stay on the same accutane dose for a while, you could use the most effective way to stimulate hair growth which is 1mm/week microneedling + 1ml minoxidil every day. Another option is stemoxydine which is still effective but not as much as minoxidil.

This is bullshit
I have diffuse thinning but my temples are the same from years

Went to the dermatologist last week
Confirmed that it's male baldness (just the beginning)

And I have same hair than @Native right now
He should go to a derm asap, when a man starts losing hair after puberty, 90% it's male baldness

Guess I’ll have to figure out how to go to one. How did he diagnose you?

Asked me if I have relatives balding (and I have)
Then looked at my hair with a lens and said that noticed miniaturization
Also I have very high DHT (checked the levels of T and DHT before going)

Fuck so if I go to one they can look at my scalp and see if there’s miniaturization, that’s how I’ll know. Alright.

I literally have zero clue what’s going on with me and I can’t even get properly diagnosed nor self diagnose all I know is I can see my scalp seemingly more on the top and I lose like 40 hairs a fucking shower after accutane. Who knows what’s happening to me. I fucking don’t, and as a result don’t know if I should take fin or not.

To take fin or not to take fin....fucking hell JFL

Hello. I quit accutane entirely. The shedding is still continuing despite the fact I quit accutane. I don’t get it man. I think accutane accelerated my MPB or it’s telogen effluvium. I’m either balding and accutane accelerated it, or it’s just temporary and it will end. I wish I knew man. So hard to diagnose.

OP can you please call me on discord to help me better understand my options I am in literal distress here
