Just lying there, so I approached it, and it limped a couple of metres and fell back down

Called RSPCA 45 minutes later when they opened

They told me they can’t do anything as they need someone watching it in case it moves before they arrive

Went for a walk near some posh apartments with my mom tonight and saw an injured dove in the middle of the trail just squatting there flicking it's head around, at one point it tried to fly but instead fell over and started flapping it's wings going around in circles

So my mom thought it was a good idea to pick it up, carry it all the way to the car, then leave it near a tree to die

Thing looked traumatized afterwards and just sat there not moving a muscle, it's just best to leave an injured animal alone, messing with it always does them a disservice
