The argument goes like this:
"This incel just wants to blame his looks when he isn't that ugly, it's easier to blame looks because those are out of his control"
The problem with this argument is two fold:
1. Looks are in your control, to a degree, after all, isn't that what looksmaxxing is for, improving your looks?
2. Social skills aren't as easily in your control as you think. One may say "oh you should've done this instead". The problem with this argument is that you need to have that particular come to your mind, in order to do it. If you lack social skills, your brain won't give you that "cue" to perform that certain social task in that situation. You aren't "socially calibrated" so to speak, and won't have the awareness of what is the most socially adept thing to do in certain situations.
