scam supplement?

at least explain the supplement

Here is how to assess any supplement:

Step 1: Ignore the marketing (giant gold case is a red flag)

Step 2: Go to the ingredients

In this case:

Pharma D-Aspartic Acid 100 mg
Pure Suma Root 100 mg
Bulgarian Tribulus Terrestris 100 mg
Pure Fenugreek 100 mg
Pharma Saw Palmetto 50 mg

So it's mostly just random herbs that you've probably walked by hundreds of times in the nutrition aisle at a grocery or drug store

Step 3: Look up the ingredients in medical journals making sure to pay attention to the dosage (since even when the ingredients might have some effect these pills are often way underdosed in these blend pills)

The ingredient on top is usually the star ingredient.

In this case:

Pharma D-Aspartic Acid : The results of this paper indicate that DAA supplementation is ineffective at changing testosterone levels, or positively affecting training outcomes. Reductions in estradiol and the blunting of peripheral excitability appear unrelated to improvements from resistance training.

Second ingredient: Not much on it

Bulgarian Tribulus Terrestris: After 5 weeks of training, strength and fat free mass increased significantly without any between-group differences. No between-group differences were noted in the urinary T/E ratio. It was concluded that T. terrestris did not produce the large gains in strength or lean muscle mass that many manufacturers claim can be experienced within 5-28 days.

Pure Fenugreek : There was a study that found Fenugreek had some effect, but the dosage was 500mg and this supplement only contains 100mg. When you find one study that showed some effect then you will want to verify it with at least a couple other studies.

Fifth ingredient: Too lazy to Google

Step 4: If you find there is an ingredient in that supplement that might actually work, then instead of buying the blend for $100 a package which will include a bunch of useless shit and probably be underdosed, just go to your local grocery store (or Amazon) and buy the effective ingredient at a higher dose for way cheaper

In this case the only ingredient that shows any potential is Fenugreek (but I suspect if I spent more time researching that it wouldn't really have any effect), so instead of buying that BS blend you can just go on Amazon and buy a 100 pack of Fenugreek contaiining 610mg per bill (instead of the 100mg underdosage in the blend) for $8.
