You see, I have an intense fear of social situations where there is basically a table of my girlfriends family and they’re all talking. I want to go down there so I don’t seem like a weirdo, but when I go down there it’ll only be worse because you can see the fear in my eyes. I’ll be laughing nervously the entire time. My hands are cold as fuck just thinking about it.

I used to rely on alcohol for situations like this, but I don’t want to be an alcoholic and have to depend on it for everything.

So my choices are to remain upstairs like a weirdo

Or go downstairs and interact but do so in a weird way that seems unnatural
