How's your libido? The first time I took oral fin, I couldn't sleep for two weeks. I sleep like a baby now, but instead of getting dreams every night, I get them like 5 times a year.

But the insomia went away, never came back even after getting off fin and trying it again. No dreams though to this day.

It’s weird because I still have my libido but it’s just dulled in a way. I still get horny but Im never satisfied. I don’t really feel anything when I see a hot Stacy if I’m taking fin. It’s like everything is dulled to 10%, it even bleeds into my mood as well. I had really bad insomnia and gyno and ED the first time I started, the second time I retried things improved a bit but still on and off problems. But really the biggest problem is the mood for me. It makes me soulless and crying all the time. I recently stopped taking it for about a week and I feel so drastically different right now mentally it’s insane, I feel like myself again.

No I have some heart problems so that shit is sketchy to me. I might try topical fin but it’s less effective I really need a strong medication since I’m losing hair so young. Plus over time it builds up in your bloodstream anyway even on such a small dose. I’m unconvinced we’ll find a safe cure until we can clone hair follicles for infinite hair transplants tbh it’s pretty bleak.

Have you tried melatonin ?

When I do get insomnia from fin melatonin doesnt help I have to take like 50mg of Benadryl to sleep

I’ve been using RU with no issues at all. Heart rate all good but I don’t think I’m predisposed to any issues.

The next best solution is not fully keep a molecule in the scalp which blocks the AR completely from interacting with DHT

If you're still too nervous to do it just save up for a hair transplant in a few years. Though keep in mind you can still lose your hair after a transplant if you're not maintaining it with dut.

Risk of impotence is extremely low over time. I feel like people overblow it.

My theory is that some people really need DHT to antagonize E2 in the body. Hence, my gyno issues with in-range estodial. Don't forget about the low Allopregnanalone issue, that's where I think the insomnia and some mental sides come from.

I have lower libido on topical dut, but compared to the 50% lower from fin, I would say mabye 30% lower. Also, after 3 months of use, I developed gyno pains again, which I am extremely sensitive to. On fin within days, I would get this side effect.

So yes, there is the half-life question, and it does accumulate in the system, however I was dosing 0.03% daily at 0.75ml, which is around 0.22mg daily. I've adjusted my dosing schedule to 3 days a week, and it's subsiding. If you do 3 days a week at like 0.5ml, I believe the amount you put on is in sync with the amount that is cleared by the system.

The half-life thing doesn't work the same as with oral, I know this because after about a week of cessation, the sensitivity went away, and I started using it again.

Ive also done bloods, dht reduced by 11% in 3 months, compared to 0.005% fins 37% 2 weeks in.
