I'm gonna assume that you're around Fitzpatrick III, nightly kojic acid + hydroquinone for 8 weeks is enough. You need to treat it like a topical steroid or else you're gonna end up with funky patches. If your skin gets irritated quit for a few days and let your skin barrier heal.

I am fitzpatrick3 currently using hydroquinone 4% daily and tretnion 0.025 twice a week i should add Kojic 1% or no I will do this for 3 months then hop on tretnion+azelaic if I can add Kojic soap 1% lmk? And once a day and do I need cleanser too
