Conclusion​

Smell is vital in softmaxxing
No trendy sprays. (Get something good)
Spray in the right place, not just your neck/wrists
Layer smells.

Obviously wash your ass and shit, also get a neutral deodorant as you don't want your deodorant to smell stronger than your cologne

Also , test your colognes out before you buy them (You dont want to buy it and use it and it makes your head hurt and smells like shit)
(get testers at the department store and spray the cologne you want into the bottle and its free )

good thread but I'd disagree with going against the more popular designer fragrances like JPG. Designer fragrances are made to be mass-appealing for a reason, they work. If you're purely wearing cologne just to garner compliments or appeal to others, I'd say they're the safest bet. I own a lot of niche fragrances, and I wear them often because I enjoy them but i also acknowledge their often not as universally liked. Ngl the majority of my compliments come from wearing basic designer lol.

True the "npc" smell are "npc" bc they are good and popular and the go to for cologne
