School and Physique

3 years of lifting with the school and i feel like im behind.

how do i get a better physique while doing my schools workouts? i have to do them if i want to play football but our lifting program is football focused. i try hard everyday and my bench has only went from 205 to 215. when i go to real gyms it feels much better. so my question is should i lift at school then do a separate one after? i feel like id just fatigue myself and do more bad then good.

i also do football and i can tell you that the football lifts are redundant and designed to prevent injuries not building muscle which is why i stopped following their gay programs and did my own

how do i go about that tho? i dont think im able to just not follow the program unless i talked to my coach about it and he was chill

my team kinda sucked, i just never showed up for lifts, but also i have the best physique on the team, my team trainer is a chiller he be giving my zyns hella, whenever we have team lifts i just do my own workouts and nobody says anything and other days i just go to my local gym i legit bench more than the lineman that’s how shit our team is

True involves more powerlifting movements not bodybuilding . Plus all that cardio can mess you up unless your eating at a surplus
