I planned an entire lesson and it got OK'd by the mentor teacher, however, the university teacher says it doesn't meet the requirements, but they added that it was a very interesting lesson nonetheless, just not what the teacher program is asking us to do. :FeelsRainMan:

Plus a cute woman from my university class said she is quitting and today was her last day, so I am never seeing her again. :FeelsRainMan:

The classroom shrank from 20 classmates at the start of the year to just 6 classmates (excluding me).

Try to make small talks with any teacher if you are interested in them, you never know you might land a gold mine

Damn, why? everyone quit?
Some just dropped out without saying anything, others said they had a burnout or mental problems, some said it was too much for them to do, some just wanted to do something else and the woman in question said not only did she have a third of the required points to advance into the second year, but she also decided over the break she would study something else. Oops, I miscounted. There's 7 students in total, I forgot to include the one who didn't attend today.

What songs cheer you up gengar?
Nothing cheers me up, but lately I just listen to k-pop and j-pop. :Animedance: What about you?

Thanks bhai. Yeah I never made it this far before, this is really a new thing for me. Maybe that's why I'm so lazy and sort of tired nowadays. My attendance rate has gone down, I'm always showing up late, missing the first three classes (so that's 5 hours missed, because I am there from 9:15 AM until 6:45 PM, however, the first few periods, I attended from 9:15 AM until 8:15 PM, and I was present from the start of the day until the end of the day, nowadays I just show up in the middle of the day and it shows, I'm so far behind on everything compared to my classmates).

He's from the Netherlands I'm pretty sure, and they're notorious for having an insanely high dropout rate in university. I deadass think its the highest out of any country, at least in europe. They have a quite large section of the national budget designated to universities, so they adopt a "Weed out" strategy. Almost everyone who wishes gets into some form of university, but few manage to complete the degrees. Thats why universities like UVA are very high on the world rankings yet are comparitively easy to get into.

By the way, have you thought about digital footprint and such once you complete your degree? Mainly concerning how your face is on the site (at least I think it is), and you're quite the profiled figure. If a future employer finds it, it could potentially cause some issues, no? I'm not trying to worry you or be too intrusive, but I'm just tryna look out for you. Good luck on your studies, you got this:love:

Indeed, it does, even though I have barely done any teaching. I am basically an aide in the classroom so far at my internship.

Wow, holy shit. Mirin your knowledge. If I didn't know any better, I would have assumed that you're Dutch. Indeed, there is a weeding out strategy in the Netherlands. It's funny you mention it because we spoke about it today in one of my classes. If, let's say, you don't get the amount of credits you need to advance into the second year, then the school bars you from re-joining the next year. Some universities don't allow you to re-join at all. One of my teachers said that they felt really strongly about this but she couldn't do anything about that. The first year here tends to be the hardest but I keep hearing now from other students that the hardest years come later, so either every year is just hard or they are make the first year the hardest. I am willing to bet it is the latter.

Also hahah no worries, my face has never been posted publicly. They are all troll threads. I would prefer to stay anonymous online, because there's always people who can use it against you somehow. I see myself as an irrelevant figure but I know that once I post my picture, it will always stay up, and guys will save my pictures and spam them here to troll me.

It really is exhausting. Summer break is coming up, but before that, a bunch of examinations and whatnot to be done. Thank you bhaijaan! :Animedance:

yeah tbh teaching isnt rlly a great job you gotta actually be in it for the love of the game and have passion for it

Poor Gengar, he’s never had a good day in his life

Yeah I'm not from the Netherlands, I just got that knowledge:feelshah: Kinda sucks that they're THAT harsh though, I feel like it would probably be overall better for society if they were a little bit more lenient.I kinda get it for some degrees, like sociology, gender studies and everything else that doesn't serve a clear industry pourouse, but I don't know why they would be like that for STEM or teaching.

Okay great lol. I mean it would probably be fine either way, but it would feel horrible if you spent years completing a degree and securing a job just for it to be taken away for such a silly reason
