science behind oral minoxidil non responders?

to my understanding, oral minoxidil is a lot more effective since you are not relying on the sulfur transferase enzymes on your scalp, instead you use the enzymes present in your liver and apparently everyone has sufficient amounts of sulfur transferase in their systems, so why do non responders exist? i've been on oral for 6 months no hair regrowth or stabilisation JFL i've been on fin for 2 years as well with no change @Orc @the MOUSE @BrahminBoss @garoupilled_

5-7 mg, is what it is i guess, will try dut microneedling ru58841 and if they all fail il just jump off a bridge

Not an expert on oral minoxidil but you still need the sulfotransferase on your scalp for it to have an effect on your hair follicles. I'd recommend trying to turn into a responder by using tretinoin on your scalp or derma rolling.

not much body hair i think my eyelashes maybe grew a bit i've always had low amounts of body hair cause im a soyboy

Yeah I mean if the minox caused more body hair, generally when taken orally it stimulates body hair growth.
If you got NO body hair growth it's possible it's just not having any effect, OR maybe you're one of those rare cases where it takes a longer time than most to have effect. Or maybe you're not taking enough... there's a lot of things that you may be doing wrong here
