There's a political or moral bias within science, but science itself (at least hard science) doesn't show any favor to human qualities and is rather neutral.

A cruical component of science is empiricism, and if you believe injecting a virus into your bloodstream is bad, try to prove it empirically and in a controlled setting. Try to prove it with various vaccines, and if at least one vaccine shows to be bad, that should be a contradiction evidence that all vaccines aren't as thought to be in a good light.

People always need something to blindly believe in. Those who claim to be above this law, are nothing but delusional. Even the "muh science is cool" people are those who blindly believe the "facts" they read. Studying science requires strong rigor to personally verifying the facts.

Plus, science can't be much relied on, it has its own limitations.
