Half true. Most of the time there is an intermediate host, like a squirrel or similar animal. Bat infects squirrel, then squirrel infects human. This virus is an exception to that rule. the fact that it is an exception leads me to believe 'official' wet market story is bunk, and virus really escaped from lab.
