• iliac wings
• pubic arch
• quadriceps angle
• lumbar curve

Obviously if she's fat enough you can't see these characteristics it's an instant drop, but if you can then you can easily determine if she has wide hips or not regardless of how much fat she stores in her body, this, of course, only applies if she has a thin waist.
