Scoliosis Surgery for Height

Basically I have scoliosis and my curvature is slightly below what is considered severe enough for surgery, although I can do any activity and probably won't have back pain from it in the future I got the news from my doctor that I'm not in need for a surgery which is supposed to be good news because its a fucking back operation/surgery but I though about the aesthetic benefits: straight spine so I will not look a bit awkward shirtless and mainly a 2-3 inch added height.
