It may seem insane at first, how we could even spend up to 1/4 of our lives sitting on our phones
I personally think though, that it gives life the excitement we are craving, even excluding the useful information we could obtain
The songs, movies, edits. Whatever it might be it releases dopamine in us, which is responsible for the majority of joy we are having
You could say having fun by going outside, socializing whatever. But thats simply not the reality for most of us
Everytime we go outside, we are facing humiliation, feeling left out and overall dissatisfied
Also becomes boring after a while
Obv your life shouldnt consist of it, despite it beeing a great coping mechanism
Everytime you have the chance to enjoy life without it, you should take the chance
