Abra cadabra is probably the most known "spell" used in tons of movies and other media as a joke, the first record of it being written was by Serenus whom prescribed writing the word on a piece of parchment as a healing amulet to cure malaria and deadly fevers.
Many pop culture sources like this video claim it comes from an Aramaic phrase meaning "I create as I speak" (avra kedabra), but linguists note there is no actual historical proof for this derivation, the true linguistic origin is uncertain and heavily debated by experts.
