I made my own right angle mirror, also called a non-reversing mirror. This type of mirror flips your image back so you see yourself how others see you, without any lense distortion from a camera.
I was going to buy a name brand True Mirror but then saw the price. I ordered two 2' squares of mirror from the glass store and then put them together at a right angle and duct taped the back seam. There is a seam down the middle but eventually you learn to ignore it.
I built it for $60, instead of paying $300 for a True Mirror.
In hind sight I should have used 1.5' or even 1' squares as 2' is too big. It would have been even cheaper too.
