Seeing an orthodontist for palatal expander consultation later this month with my mum. How can I get him to recommend double jaw surgery to her?

When I went to the orthodontist I didn't have proof he then referred me to a maxillofacial surgeon and asked me to get a sleep study done. I saw the surgeon and he said I needed lower jaw surgery and I never had to get a sleep study done.

Bro I got sucked in with these autists with their basement theories who never got expanders and surgery in their life, don't get an expander or MSE if your IMW is 45 and 50 mm.
MSE doesn't do anything for IPD, and the cheek bones and FWHR improvement is very minimal.

If you want a wider smile tho, orthodontists can achieve that with Damon braces.
My advice is that you skip any expanders and get BiMax

Try getting your mum on board with you getting bimax before going to the clinic. Once you get the consulation just tell the doc you think your jaw is recessed and you want to get bimax. The doctors want to make money from you so there is no reason they wouldn't give you a bimax unless your not recessed/ high risk for complications.

If your young I would probably wait until your 18 before getting a bimax.
