seeing cats suffer makes me so sad, I have too much empathy for animals is this a cuck trait

i saw a cat in my uni limping and it was meowing for help and I felt so bad i had to go home at that time tho, where i live is such a terrible place for cats so many strays here with no homes and they're all so loving and affectionate why tf do i have to feel like this ffs
