For some reason outside of school I feel 10x more confident I make eye contact it's not awkward but I usually only interact with them if they are an employee lowk life fuel it's so much more awkward trying to talk to a female when you have to see them literally everyday so if they reject you it's 10x worse so I'm 10x less sociable in an academic setting but seeing a foid my age at a store I feel so confident especially if I'm standing taller than them and if I'm purchasing something expensive this will start happening a lot more once I graduate in a month
