the problem is when people think money is a substitute for physical health, relaxation, agood social life etc.

Money is just an amplifier. If you’re a happy individual with a healthy lifestyle and you get more money, you’ll just have access to do more things you couldn’t do before (and have more freedom as you don’t have to work that shitty job you hate)

if you’re fat, depressed and have no friends - you’ll still feel shorty regardless of if you get a ton of money or not.

Think of happiness as a result of living a fulfilling life. When you don’t have to worry about making money everyday, you have more time and resources at your disposal to live that fulfilled life.
