Yes, get a degree or skill to make money, get in shape to be healthier and stronger and better looking, improve your appearance to get a girlfriend

But you have to accept that your self improvement will eventually disappear because you will get older and become a frail old man

Normie with a lot of money in his 30s will do much better than normie with no money in his 20s, even if 20something normie will on average be a bit more physically attractive. That's assuming you have the skill and luck to make a lot money and also the willingness to leverage it of course.

Oh definitely, there is only so much one can do and self improvement might be taken as something without the limit, so might cause fixation and delusions about what can be achieved, so this makes sense to be more grounded and do the essential looksmaxing improvement and stop at that, cause there’s no point going into the rabbit hole
