If I ever had kids I would tell them the truth from day 1 I would never set them up with the false expectation of “true love” because it isn’t real, human psychology is a bitch and you will never escape from it, your desire isn’t controlled by you and what it looks for isn’t actually what you think you want, this is why the divorce rate is like 60% now that we abandoned the rigid societal systems of order we are one of the first generations in modern civilization to see the result of such “freedom”, what a mess tbh, you’re a slave either way it just depends whether to your self or someone else’s
