So I went to the ENT the other day and was told my septum is extremely deviated (as I suspected). I need to improve my breathing ASAP and this seems like the way to go. But I have two options:

1) get mse first to expand nasal airway and then get septorhinoplasty (my nose is fucked ngl)

2) get septoplasty first to straighten septum and improve breathing immediately followed by mse and rhino.

My concern with getting mse first is that my nose will look even worse from the expansion of the nasal bridge, given that mine isnt straight.

Septoplasty is covered under insurance, rhino is an extra cost no matter which option.

get it before since mse might expand your airway you don't want it to exapnd wrongly

Hes talking from purely an airway perspective. What about aesthetic changes from expanding the nasal cavity on an already crooked septum? Anyway it seems like mse first is the way to go, just so I don’t have to postpone mse due to recovering from septoplasty
