Happiness doesn’t exist. If your serotonin levels are high, you feel good.
If they’re low, life suddenly feels like trash. That’s all there is.
Think about it serotonin is tied to status. When people respect you, accept you, when you feel like you matter serotonin spikes.
When they ignore you, reject you, or treat you as invisible serotonin crashes.
Which means you don’t even own your happiness.
You’re just a reflection of how much value society assigns to you.
Why were we happy as kids Because we had no expectations. Our brains were clean.
Now our serotonin is chained to external validation. How many followers do you have, who’s looking at you, who’s choosing you that’s all that matters now.
Worse, serotonin is addictive. When your status rises, you feel like a king for a moment. But it never lasts.
The brain always demands more. More attention, more approval, more status an endless hunger.
And in the end, you realize there is no such thing as true happiness.
Only a fragile chemical illusion, playing with your emotions.
We think we’re free, but we’re just puppets pulled by serotonin’s strings.
Happiness doesn’t exist.
There’s only a chemical reward system, and it will never let you be satisfied

In the end our actions lifes and feelings are controlled by micro chemical processes in our brain which we have zero control over,

We are both commanded by "code" in some way and we both learn to adapt and mirror in certain circumstances

my serotonin levels aren't linked to social approval, they're linked to rules and standards i set for myself.

it's actually maladaptive in a society generating massive amounts of retards to allow them undue influence over your serotonin levels and thus influence over your decision making process.

i think this is a result of many generations of my family having to contend with leftist boomerfag policies and social enforcement

plus i think t levels modulate this process to a degree:

incidentally it's incredibly hard to make me depressed. i only get depressed when i think about my advanced age, how i never had a son, and how i might die without having killed my enemies in open battle.

happiness is not an illusion; it is absolutely real, as it only exists in the context of the individual anyway.
it cannot be an illusion, as there is nothing with which one could distinguish “real” happiness from illusory happiness. all our feelings and sensory perceptions are ultimately merely products of biochemical processes, but that does not make them any less real.

whether real or illusory, happiness is dictated by biology and circumstance. Calling it real doesn’t change that you’re still a prisoner of chemicals

yes, but I don't get your point. ofc we are "prisoners of chemicals" and "dictated by biology" as we are living human beings. how else would life function? is this some new groundbreaking information for you? everything is dictated by hormones and neurotransmitters.
