I am 18 years old 6’5 and 213 pounds, as of currently(formerly 272 from playing football) skinny fatish probably around 20% BF and planning on going down to 185-190 12-14% BF I’ll have no trouble with the lean maxxing part of things( never lifted consistently in my teenage years to maximize growth, but I’ve made pretty good newbie gains in the first 1 month of lifting consistently) but my main question is there any way I can fix my UEE/eye area in general, I understand I have potential and do NOT want to waste it, let me know if anyone can help with tips for naturally improving my eye area or facial structure/ symmetry.

Sorry bud, periorbital fat grafts or nothing for this case, your orbital fat doesn't even exist

Jokes aside.

1. Daily cold showers for upper eyelid exposure.
2. Rhinoplasty (nasal width).
3. Healthmaxing, volufiline or fat graft for the eyebags.
4. Minoxidil or microblading for eyebrows.
5, Minor squinting for scleral show.

Unbalanced facial thirds. As the other guy said, you need periorbital fat grafting. I’ll add some infraorbital rim implants too, maybe some malar implants but you’re not really lean so I can’t give an honest assessment. I’d also recommend you get hairline lowering surgery for more balanced facial thirds.

I know this isn’t what you asked for (natural methods) but there’s nothing you can really do naturally other than losing fat.

So lean maxxing is really my only natural method right now

Also your nose width isn’t ideal at all, a rhinoplasty is the only way to fix it. And your upper lip nerfs you

I don’t really have a problem with my nose or lips I like have big lips and the nose is fine ig( this is probably cope but I really don’t mind it 😭) but why would my upper lip nerf me is it becyase it’s big ?

Weird looking especially in comparison to your philtrum, it just doesn’t look good, it nerfs you hard. Also, your eye spacing looks compacted (very unideal), the only way to fix that is OBO (orbital box osteotemy). Few surgeons perform it and it’s a very complex procedure.

I probably won’t do surgery unless I get rich rich but thank you for your time and help lean maxxing will continue as planned thank you 🙌🙌

Daily cold showers for UEE? Dude that’s some shit advice, why would he shower his entire body in cold water just to target his periorbital area LOL? + he could just ice his eyes for even better effects. Either way, it’s temporary and doesn’t last long term, you need periorbital fat grafting to fix UEE lol

Works for me, works for others on the forum, works for Inuits (look at their UEE), and its scientifically backed.
I take cold showers everyday and I had UEE in the past and I haven't had a problem with UEE ever since I passed the 20-30 day mark.

I actually do not know much about this outside of healthmaxing (particularly by increasing fat intake + sleeping very well) + volufiline

Alright, let’s stop with the anecdotes and provide me with the “scientific data” on this.

+wouldnt icing the area have the same if not better effects?

True, I respect your statement.

Data:

  • Huo, C., et al. (2022). Effect of Acute Cold Exposure on Energy Metabolism and Activity of Brown Adipose Tissue in Humans: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis. Frontiers in Physiology, 13, 917084.
  • van Marken Lichtenbelt, W. D., et al. (2013). Cold acclimation recruits human brown fat and increases nonshivering thermogenesis. The Journal of Clinical Investigation, 123(8), 3395–3403.

  • Blondin, D. P., et al. (2014). Increased brown adipose tissue oxidative capacity in cold-acclimated humans. The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, 99(5), E838–E846.

  • Saito, M., et al. (2009). High incidence of metabolically active brown adipose tissue in healthy adult humans: effects of cold exposure and adiposity. Diabetes, 58(7), 1526–1531.

Icing would definitely be localized and have more targeted effects, but sadly I do not know whether there is a real difference in terms of aesthetic result when using it localized (icing) vs global (in a cold shower).

In my experience, global (cold showers) gave me a better result, probably because it stimulated the whole body to produce brown fat, giving a more robust and reliable effect instead of the localized response which may not trick the body due to the rest of the body being warm and hence, not triggering the need for thermogenesis.

Doing it to your face (putting your face in an ice bowl) also works as well.

Just my hypothetical conjecture though.

First and foremost, I appreciate the effort that went into this and the transparency. But none of these studies suggest that cold exposure will give you more upper eyelid fat.

I’ll try it at my own risk though. I really fell off the boat the last few years and I really need to focus on myself more. No harm in trying something that presumably works (cause it could very well do)

Well, it's in reference to brown fat in general and brown fat is what causes the increase in fat volume in the UE area when it is exposed to cold through the process of browning (white fat -> brown fat) upon exposure to noteworthy cold.

But AI disagrees with me and it seems as if the process I used to describe the effect is flawed.
