wide shoulders and thick frame are must for looking good in a suit.

Those are just very bad suits. Look at shape of his shoulders, this space is purposely stiffened to give such funky look, which in turn makes you look like framelet. The jacket is also too small. The pants are very tight and also have bad proportions, this was a trend in last decade that was pushed as a trend but was universally hated for that reason, today it's no longer done
