i get what you mean, like different steps/stages towards it but you're right that requires a great deal of effort which most aren't willing to give.

problem decomposition is a method used widely for solving big problems, so if your life is fucked rn and you don’t know where to start, break down every aspect u dislike and fix them one by one. if you don’t do this you will never get yourself out of that rut.

Set weekly/monthly goals on a regular basis tailored to your circumstances
Things like going to the gym or studying consistently, waking up/going to bed at a set time, completing a certain amount of work or earning a certain amount of money etc
