I didn't say no (I was like 12 years old, like any other kid in 4th grade), I said ''let's postpone this until like 7th or 8th grade, to grow up, it's quite early'' (average overthinkingcel behavior and mentality..), she was a little surprised by my answer and a little disappointed, but she said ok at that time.

That's because, literally, I was just a 12 year old kid who didn't know shit about life (it was that time when Naruto was cool, the popularity of the internet was in its infancy, and only half of the class had just bought their first PC)

So I knew that the relationship wouldn't last long, because I would probably do something dumb or inappropriate, and in any case, sooner or later we would break up, and I didn't want that, because I would lose all the aura I had in the class + I was already in very good friendships and had many common hobbies with her, and I didn't want to lose that (while I in my mind was in love with her and dreaming of getting married and shit..)
